Important
Pressure testing of swimming pools is performed with the pool empty, as this allows for inspection of the structure and fittings (plastic-cement or plastic-fiber, depending on the construction material). These points often present leaks that the pressure tester doesn't detect, so their inspection is essential.
Structural review
In addition to pressure testing, we inspect shims, skimmers, return lines, whirlpools, and drains. These joints are critical points where leaks frequently occur. A thorough inspection is essential, as these leaks cannot be detected by pressure testing alone.
Diagnosis and budget
With the results obtained, we determine whether the leak comes from the plumbing system or the pool structure:
- Pipeline circuit: A budget is prepared for the total or partial replacement of the pipes.
- Structure: It is recommended to install a coating with reinforced plastic known as fiberglass, which provides watertightness and greater mechanical resistance to the pool, prolonging its useful life.
